Wanderings in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Wisconsin

After going to Kristie's parents for a few days and getting ourselves organized, our first "wandering" was to the U.P. of Michigan, on our way to visit Mike's brother, Mark, and sister-in-law Kim, and their family in Wisconsin. We had a great time on the shore of Lake Michigan on the way. The boys loved being "tough enough" to dip their toes in the frigid lake water! It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed the ride.  We had a great visit with Mark, Kim, Adam, Kevin, and Katie in Kohler, Wisconsin. We went putt-putt golfing on the pier in Sheboygan (Nicholas even chipped his ball into the channel-little monster!), ate ice cream, and tried to avoid the motorized hawks (their attempt to scare away the seagulls!).

Wanderings Have Begun!

We moved out of our house in Kings Mills on June 20th.  Here are some pictures of us loading up.  The boys were excited to help us pack up the big truck.  After we packed up, we drove up to Michigan to store some things at Kristie's Grandma's house.  We left Zoe at Kristie's Aunt's house.  She will be keeping her for us most of the year.  We will see her from time to time this summer, then get her for most of the summer when we come back each year.
